Dato' Siti Nurhaliza - Cintamu

Nota cinta lama
Kujadikan lagu
Walau tidak seindah
Bisik kata yang kau beri

Tetap dalam hati
Siang malam menanti
Tak jemu aku dibuai kerinduan

Belum pernah ada getaran sebegini
Memang pernah aku dilanda
Cinta kepadamu

Chorus **
** Bercahaya hidupku
** Dalam taman cinta
** Sehingga segalanya seperti pelangi
** Kau sambutlah rinduku
** Jangan lepas lagi
** Ku pasti setia seteguh kasihmu
** Buatku

Kini ku temui
Insan yang ku sayangi
Sentiasa di sisi
Bagai bintang yang berseri

Tetap dalam hati
Siang malam menanti
Tak jemu aku dibuai kerindan

Belum pernah ada getaran sebegini
Memang benar aku dilanda
Cinta kepadamu

Repeat Chorus **

Apa jawapan engkau berikan
Tak bisa ku rasa segala rahsia
Kau pesona cinta yang membawa
Bahagia

Repeat Chorus **

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD)

Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a recognized delusional anxiety condition where attractive people believe they are hideously ugly. Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD) is a psychiatric condition that causes sufferers to obsess about an imagined or small defect in their appearance.

Around one per cent of the population suffer from this disorder. The disorder usually starts in adolescence, when people are most sensitive about their appearance. It is like an ‘emotional cancer' because it will eat oneself up.

The list of symptoms, which includes:
1) Constantly checking your appearance and focusing on just one area of the face
2) Sufferers commonly avoid social situations in a bid to prevent people seeing their ‘flaws’
3) Seek medical help for their imagined defects.

Your GP can help. Treatment for BDD may include antidepressant medication, cognitive behavioural therapy or a combination of both.

You ain't heavy, you are my son.

Let me start today by telling you one of the most touching story I have seen. It is a true story about Team Hoyt.

A son says to his father: 'Dad, would you be willingly to run a marathon with me?'
The father, despite his age and a heart disease, says 'YES'.
And they run that marathon, together.

The son asks: 'Dad, can you run another marathon with me?'
Again father says 'YES'.
They run another marathon, together.

One day the son asks his father: Dad would please do the Iron Man with me?'
(Now just in case you wouldn't know, 'The Iron Man' is the toughest triathlon in existence; 4km swimming, then 180 km by bike, and finally another 42 km running, in one stroke).
Again his father says 'YES'

Maybe this doesn't 'touch' you yet by your heart strings... until you see this clip below and turn on the sound

Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes

As I was flipping through the pages, I stumble across one of the UK No1 cleanser brand. That I soon went out to get a sample for testing. It was as good as it was crowned! Worthy of my penny so I have decided to pen it down for readers. The product that I would recognized is a product of Accantia Health & Beauty Ltd. It is called the “Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes“.

As we all know, perfect moisturizing is essential for healthy, radiant skin and great cleansing prepares the way to obtaining that result. Therefore, it is a crucial matter when it comes to choosing the “right” product to take care of our skin.

For cleansing, I would personally recommend “Simple Cleansing Facial Wipes”. This is as the facial wipes I mention, I would say is effective and quick from my personal experience. You would not believe the result of it! It refreshes and tone our skin while removing all make-up and it even waterproof mascara! Not only so, there are a few other things you should note about this product, which is as below:-

• Basically, it has no perfume and no colouring,
• Most importantly, it is suitable for sensitive skin such as mine as the product ph balanced works in harmony with our skin
• Besides that, Simple is 100% oil free, leaving skin with no greasy residue
• It is also 100% alcohol free which gives us with non-drying, soft and supple skin
• Generally, It is dermatologically tested and approved
• And finally it is a skincare product that contains no animal derived ingredients.

Ps: While using a skincare product, always remember to take note of a product expiration date. This is as we do not want to use expire product on our skin. The chemicals may change due to time and cause damages to our delicate skin.

EPF 8% Means Paying More Income Tax ( For High Income Group )

Assume monthly basic salary is RM4000.

- If your monthly EPF contribution is 11% ( RM440 ), taxable income = RM3560, income tax payable = RM77.
- If your monthly EPF contribution is 8% ( RM320 ), taxable income = RM3680, income tax payable = RM109.

Conclusion : If you choose to contribute 8%, you will end up paying more
income tax to the government, which will make the government richer. Finance Minister Najib said this measure is meant to boost up the slow-down market, but from this example we see that the money does not go into the market. Instead the money goes direct into the government's pocket throug the greater amount of income tax that we will have to pay. Obviously this measure does not help the market at all. Do we still want this kind of government that doesn't have the best interest of the people in mind?

My 7th Uncle

This is my 7th uncle. He is originally from Johor but has been staying in Singapore all this while. He is older now. I think he should be about 70 as well. He loves all of us very much. See how happy he sees us? He even asked me to snap a few more for him. He earns a living driving the lorry; he is a lorry driver.

This is the tool that feeds him. His lorry!

It is a very tough life for him. Let me tell you a short story about his family:-

He has 3 sons. 1 well educated and the other 2 averagely educated. It’s not his son’s education we are talking about here. It is that he has 3 (I am so sorry to use this word I couldn’t not think of any that might not sound so harsh) USELESS but educated children and 1 USELESS wife. This is a short description about them. They are educated but incapable of differentiating the right from wrong.

1. His children will ask him to scoop out money for them to get married and etc. They would ask him to finance the entire household in Singapore. They even thought their own children (my uncle’s grandchildren) to always ask money from him. His wife did the same too. If asking money is not a problem, let me tell you more of what happen in the family.

2. When he is sick, his wife! Does not even bother. When he has no money to see doctor his own son and family does not even offer him a little money to visit the doctor… They of all people are all grown up, with hands to work, could not even scoop out a 50 dollar bill… HOPELESS!

3. He would buy the household groceries (rice and etc) they would cook the dinner, finish it, and left him none for dinner. My uncle has to starve. My uncle feed the spoil brats brats (Grandchildren) as well! That their own parents didn’t bother spending a dime to feed their own children.

4. My uncle has no savings as his wife would check every corner everywhere for any single penny. He used to give ALL his salary to his trusted wife and yet his wife treated him like a prisoner like a dog... with no respect. They are greedy.

5. They would quarrel badly that my uncle has to hide chain at the shoe rack for safety. Or even lock him out of his own house…

Many things happen to him. I pity him very much and of course I loved him very much as well. He’s a man that saves a lot for the rainy day. Tried very hard to provide a lot to the family but yet taken for granted. He works very hard daily. He doesn’t keep other women and is very loyal to his wife despite of all the bad treatments from the family.

He’s the man! Worthy of my respect! My wish for him is only the best. Take care my dear uncle. His words for me that day was “study hard so you don’t have to be like me”

80/20 Rule - Lesson of Love

This is food for thought for many of us... enjoy!! A very valuable lesson to learn …
Interesting quote from the movie 'Why did I get married?'

In most cases, especially in relationships, you will only get 80% of what you NEED and you will hardly get the other 20% that you WANT in your relationship. There is always another person (man or woman) that you will meet and that will offer you the other 20% which is lacking in your relationship that you WANT. And believe me, 20% looks really good when you are not getting it at all in your current relationship.

But the problem is that you will always be tempted to leave that good 80% that you know you have, thinking that you will get something better with the other 20% that you WANT.

But as reality has proven, in most cases, you will always end up with having the 20% that you WANT and loosing the 80% that you really NEED and that you already had. Be careful in deciding between what you WANT and NEED in your life.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have. 'Wow, this girl in my office is a real looker. But it's not her Wynona Rider features that got me. I'm crazy about her because she's also understanding, intelligent, tender - so many things that my spouse is not.'

Somewhere along the way, you'll find a woman or a man who will be more charming or sensitive. More alluring. More thoughtful. Richer. Have greater sex appeal. And you will find a woman or man who will need you and pursue you and go loco over you more than your spouse ever did.

Because no wife or husband is perfect. Because a spouse will only have 80% of what you're looking for. So adultery takes place when a husband or wife looks for the missing 20%. Let's say your wife is melancholic by nature.

You may find yourself drawn to the pretty clerk who has a cherry laugh no matter what she says: 'I broke my arm yesterday, hahahaha ...'

Or because your wife is a homebody in slippers and pajamas, smelling of garlic and fish oil, you may fall for a fresh-smelling young sales representative that visits your office in a sharp black blazer, high heels, and a red pencil-cut skirt. Or because your husband is the quiet type, your heart may skip a beat when you meet an old college flame who has the makings of a talk show host.

But wait! That's only 20% of what you don't have.

Don't throw away the 80% that you already have!

That's not all. Add to your spouse's 80% the 100% that represents all the years that you have been with each other. The storms you have weathered together. The unforgettable moments of sadness and joy as a couple. The many adjustments you have made to love the other. The wealth of memories that you've accumulated as lovers.

Adultery happens when you start looking for what you don't have.
But faithfulness happens when you start thanking God for what you already have.

But I'm not just talking about marriage. I'm talking about life!
About your jobs.
About your friends.
About your children.
About your lifestyles.

Are you like the economy airline passenger that perennially peeks through the door of the first class cabin, obsessed with what he's missing? 'They have got more leg room! Oh my, their food is served in porcelain! Wow, their seats recline at an 80% angle and they've got personal videos!'

I guarantee you'll be miserable for the entire trip! Don't live your life like that. Forget about what the world says is first class. Do you know that there are many first class passengers who are miserable in first class -- because they are not riding in a private Lear Jet?

The main message???

If you start appreciating what you have right now, wherever you are, you are first class!

Husband and Wife 1

Dear Wife:

I'm writing you this letter to tell you that I'm leaving you for good. I've been a good man to you for seven years and I have nothing to show for it. These last two weeks have been hell. Your boss called to tell me that you had quit your job today and that was the last straw. Last week, you came home and didn't even notice that I had gotten a new hair cut, cooked your favorite meal and even wore a brand new pair of silk boxers. You came home and ate in two minutes, and went straight to sleep after watching all of your soaps. You don't tell me you love me anymore, you don't want sex anymore or anything. Either you’re cheating on me or you don't love me anymore, whatever the case is, I’m gone.

Your EX-Husband

P.S. Don't try to find me. Your SISTER and I are moving away to West Virginia together! Have a great life!

Dear Ex-Husband -

Nothing has made my day more than receiving your letter. It's true that you and I have been married for seven years, although a good man is a far cry from what you've been. I watch my soaps so much because they drown out your constant whining and griping. Too bad that doesn't work. I did notice when you got a hair cut last week, the first thing that came to mind was "You look just like a girl!" but my mother raised me not to say anything if you can't say anything nice. And when you cooked my favorite meal, you must have gotten me confused with MY SISTER, because I stopped eating pork seven years ago. I turned away from you when you had those new silk boxers on because the price tag was still on them. I prayed that it was a coincidence that my sister had just borrowed fifty dollars from me that morning ... and your silk boxers were $49.99. After all of this, I still loved you and felt that we could work it out.

So when I discovered that I had hit the lotto for ten million dollars, I quit my job and bought us two tickets to Jamaica. But when I got home you were gone. Everything happens for a reason I guess.

I hope you have the fulfilling life you always wanted. My lawyer said that with your letter that you wrote, you won't get a dime from me. So take care.

Signed

Rich As Hell and Free!

P.S. I don't know if I ever told you this but Carla, my sister, was born Carl. I hope that's not a problem.

Today: November 14, 2008

Today is my second Friday in BDO. I have decided to update a clearer version photo of the view from my cubical. In the picture below, you can see a cup with many teddy bear. It is a cup from Kah Seong. Well it is not a direct present but it is a Christmas exchange gift back then in Accenovate. Now, I use it daily to practice drinking my 2 liters of water.

Today: November 10, 2008

Today November 10, 2008 is the second Monday of working in BDO. Today I brought McD “Hello Kitty -work hard” doll to work. This is a doll given by my dear friend Lewis from Hong Kong back then when I was working in Accenovate. I brought it to work today. I believe it is to encourage me to continuously work hard while working lol…

In this picture is the Hello Kitty doll in orange dress. From here you can see it is sitting on my cubical table on the phone. Behind is “the office”. Somewhere on the left near the brown cupboard is the exit. Well, behind me? Is where all the Director’s are.

My 6th Uncle

Above is my 6th uncle (The 6th brother of my mom). Saw him on the third day on the trip in Johor with mom. Me and my siblings call him “Aku” in mandarin. He works in Johor Baru if I am not mistaken… Well couldn’t remember much of him though besides going back to visit him every new year. He’s a grandpa now and age about 70++. Lastly, he looks tan and smiley!

As you know, vegetable generally known as the edible parts of plants can basically be planted at home. His past time includes managing his garden of vegetables. Some of the vegetables, such as carrots, bell peppers and celery, are eaten either raw or cooked; while others are eaten only when cooked.

This is how his mini garden looks like:-

Please see below the snapshots on some of many kind of vegetables planted. Some I don’t even know what it is called maybe you can help by providing me the names ;) TQ. :-

1) Lady fingers also known as the Okra.

2) Aloe vera

3) Ground nuts (To see this, you will need to pull this plant out! Haha)

4) Small chili

5) Ribena Flower (According to my uncle, he say it is used to make Ribena juice)

6) Don’t know what you call this, the Malays eat it raw whilst the Chinese eat is simple cook. I think its call the "serai" is it?

** Thanks Billy, yes I've forgotten it. Its name is Season bean!

7) This is a fruit. Don’t know what it is called as well. But it’s a fruit that can be eaten and the inside looks like a soursop!.

** Billy I also know this is "how mow lao lin" hahaha Just don't know what it is called in English ;p

Sincerely, I do encourage planting as a hobby. If it is vegetables, BETTER! You can eat home planted vegetables whereby not only it is healthier, you also don’t have to waste time purchasing all from the market. I encourage mom to do the planting too ;) I think I should spend some time to get my hands dirty!

November 8, 2008

I opened my computer cupboard upstairs in sister’s room today. In it were huge findings. Among the things I found in the cupboard includes:-

• Bracelets, necklaces and jade given by my late grandmother… It reminds me of how much love she has for me “although” the most loved in the family is still the younger one with “one eye snake”.
• In there I found a musical box in yellow. I tried my best to recall who was it from? I think it is from Patricia Yap. Someone I thought fondly of. Drifted and lost contact after high schools and got contacted again while studying in KTAR after that, gone again… Jesus Christ! I’m so bad in keeping contacts! But from facebook, I see you are doing great and I’m glad to know you are!
• Parker pen with the box and casing nicely intact. I know this is definitely from mommy! She gave it to me when I was having my UPSR. I can’t believe the pen is still nicely kept in the box and I totally forgotten about it…
• A pair of Kenji earrings. It is from one of my ex. Liked it very much and didn’t want to wear it… I wonder how is he now. We separated not on good terms.
• A bracelet again from another ex. As my wrist was too small I could not wear it… It is still nicely kept in its original box along with grandmothers jade bracelets and necklace.
• A letter knife that I use to liked a lot. It is still nice and shining. The knife’s design is plain and simple. I think the number of letters open by it should be less than 20 after so many years of keeping. “lol”
• A mini bus from my younger brother… Must have been because you were often very naughty sometimes the good deeds done by you were neglected. Looking at the bus reminds me the human side of you. I’m very sorry my dear brother. I still love you as much but I think I’ve started to neglect you too. From the difficult time you gave us, it’s hard to think of you but yet not feeling frustrated. In the end, we couldn’t even bother much anymore… We’ve been thinking so much for you I think its time for you to be independent.
• Gifts from sister’s younger days. Such as bricks from visits, key chains, shells and etc.
• A doll from Kim Fatt. He bought it when he was eating beef noodles. It’s been a long time since I heard from you too. After you married you couldn’t even keep contact with us because she’s a quick to jealous person…
• A sandalwood ladies fan from daddy ;)
• Memories of Nomis, nicely documented. Good god… I’ve missed you so much…
• A photo frame from sister during the younger days. To my surprise the picture wasn’t me with my sister it was me with Joyce Chan. My secondary school mate. How are you girl? Still in Australia? I think you should have start working by now aye?

In it were my many memories. You couldn’t believe how many years ago were those things. If I did not keep any of it, I could have lost all the fond memories I have with every one of you… Boy how I treasure those times.

Last Sunday on the way back from Johor, a group of 8 came up to KL. My aunt, uncle, 1 little girl, mom and I were the 8. We stop for breakfast in Batu Pahat market and saw the foot file below. We bought a total of 4 files. My comment on the product is as below.

Liver Damage - Don't Always Sleep Late

Take note...don't always sleep late!!

Good rest and sound sleep is very Important... if you don't sleep well, the toxic in your body will accumulate.. Affecting your health and your mood...

The main causes of liver damage are:
1. Sleeping too late and waking up too late are the main cause.
2. Not urinating in the morning.
3. Too much eating.
4. Skipping breakfast.
5. Consuming too much medication.
6. Consuming too much preservatives, additives, food coloring, and artificial sweetener.
7. Consuming unhealthy cooking oil. As much as possible reduce cooking oil use when frying, which includes even the best cooking oils like olive oil. Do not consume fried foods when you are tired, except if the body is very fit.
8. Consuming overly done foods also add to the burden of liver. Veggies should be eaten raw or cooked 3-5 parts. Fried veggies should be finished in one sitting, do not store.

We just have to adopt a good daily lifestyle and eating habits. Maintaining good eating habits and time condition are very important for our body to absorb and get rid of unnecessary chemicals according to 'schedule.'

Because:

Evening at 9 - 11pm : is the time for eliminating unnecessary/ toxic chemicals (detoxification) from the antibody system (lymph nodes). This time duration should be spent by relaxing or listening to music. If during this time a housewife is still in an unrelaxed state such as washing the dishes or monitoring children doing their homework, this will have a negative impact on her health.

Evening at 11pm - 1am: The de-toxification process in the liver, and ideally should be done in a deep sleep state. Early morning 1 - 3am: de-toxification process in the gall, also ideally done in a deep sleep state.

Early morning 3 - 5am: de-toxification in the lungs. Therefore there will sometimes be a severe cough for cough sufferers during this time. Since the de-toxification process had reached the respiratory tract, there is no need to take cough medicine so as not to interfere with toxin removal process.

Morning 5 - 7am: de-toxification in the colon, you should empty your bowel.

Morning 7 - 9am: Absorption of nutrients in the small intestine, you should be having breakfast at this time. Breakfast should be earlier, before 6:30am, for those who are sick. Breakfast before 7:30am is very beneficial to those wanting to stay fit. Those who always skip breakfast, they should change their habits, and it is still better to eat breakfast late until 9 -10am rather than no meal at all. Sleeping so late and waking up too late will disrupt the process of removing unnecessary chemicals. Aside from that, midnight to 4am is the time when the bone marrow produces blood.

Therefore, have a good sleep and don't sleep late.

How To Protect Your Email Aaddress Book From Worms Or Virus

A computer expert says this is one of the best tips ever!

It's really ingenious in its simplicity.

As you may know, when/if a worm virus gets into your computer it heads straight for your email address book, and sends itself to everyone in there, thus infecting all your friends and associates.

This trick won't keep the virus from getting into your computer, but it will stop it from using your address book to spread further, and it will alert you to the fact that the worm has gotten into your system.

Here's what you do:

First, open your address book and click on 'new contact,' just as you would do if you were adding a new friend to your list of email addresses.

In the window where you would type your friend's first name, type in 'A'.

For the screen name or email address, type 'AAAAAAA@AAA. AAA'

Now, here's what you've done and why it works:

The name ' A' will be placed at the top of your address book as entry #1. This will be where the worm will start in an effort to send itself to all your friends. When it tries to send itself to AAAAAAA@AAA. AAA, it will be undeliverable because of the phony email address you entered. If the first attempt fails (which it will because of the phony address), the worm goes no further and your friends will not be infected.

Here's the second great advantage of this method: If an email cannot be delivered, you will be notified of this in your In Box almost immediately. Hence, if you ever get an email telling you that an email addressed to AAAAAAA@AAA. AAA could not be delivered, you know right away that you have the worm virus in your system. You can then take steps to get rid of it!

Pretty slick huh?

If everybody you know does this then you need not ever worry about opening mail from friends.

In Hokkien 1

Dr. Quek made a routine house call to Mr. Lim, one of his elderly patients.
He asks, 'And how are you doing today, Mr. Lim?'

Mr. Lim replies, 'I feel just fine, doc. But you know, it's the strangest thing. Every night when I get up to pang jio, the bathroom light goes on for me automatically when I open the door!'

The doctor is worried that the old man is getting senile, so he phones the man's son, and the son's wife answers.

The doctor tells her, 'Mrs. Lim, I'm a little concerned about your father-in-law. It seems that when he gets up to urinate at night and opens the bathroom door, the light somehow goes on....'

At which point, Mrs. Lim yells, 'Aiyoh, Ah Seng! Ah Pa pang jio in the fridge again!'

QUESTION: How do you know frogs are Hokkien?
ANSWER : Because when it's cold, they go 'kwah, kwah, kwah'.

QUESTION: How do Hokkien prawns laugh?
ANSWER : Hae hae hae (Hokkien for prawns)

QUESTION: How do Hokkien fish laugh?
ANSWER : Hoo hoo hoo (Hokkien for fish)

And here is a classic .........

QUESTION: What's the difference between Ang-mor and Hokkien fairy Tales?
ANSWER : Ang-mor fairy tales begin with 'Once upon a time...' and Hokkien fairy tales begin with 'Lim Peh ka li kong...'

Cab - Incident 1 (HWC 6485)

Today (September 12, 2008) I took a ride in the cab number HWC 6485. It is a Muslim cab driver. This will allow easy identification of the cab and the actual unethical driver. This is what happen from the first sight of the cab.

I open the door and request the cab if he wants to drive to Phileo Damansara from Masjid Jamek. I have this practiced out of courtesy considering sometimes they are rather choosy on their passengers and destination.

Then after the cab driver nod his head and say yes, I have myself seated neatly in the car and closed the door. The driver waited for a moment and started asking. This is the conversation between me and him...

Driver: "Do you want to go in or be dropped at the road side"
I said : "go in".
Driver: **Think for a while then said rudely "If you want to go in you have to pay additional RM2. I don't want to be fine RM2 for the 5 minutes incurred & it's puasa month... "
I said : "Okay go ahead"

Silent all the way with a reckless driver. In the end, the driver left me right inside Phileo. I gave him a rounded amount with additional tips. I also show him the way out and told him about the parking token. He was so SO lucky! Because I hold myself from barking back at him.

In this story I would like to highlight the below:-
1. Don’t wait until the passenger ride the cab only you voice your concern. It may lead the passenger into thinking the cab driver is trying to con them out of their money.
2. Don’t request for additional money from passenger unless given willingly by the passenger. It shows the passenger how unethical you are. This is because you did not follow the standard charges enforced by the government.
3. I know about the god damn 5 minutes. I won’t make you drive in a loss. I did not say anything about not paying you. So please do not be god damn rude to the passenger!
4. You are in the service industry. Never ever be rude or show face to your passenger. You should practice a level of professionalism. So be COURTEOUS!
5. Also, as a driver, please drive carefully. If you don't care about your own god damn life, think about mine! You want to die quickly go ahead no one is stopping you! Just don't do it when I am around. I have no interest of dying with you!
6. By the way, this is the puasa month. I think this is the month where you committed bad doings. Please stand a side and regret for you doings! Puasa month is not an excuse for you to request for additional money and do bad.

** So furious with the driver almost decided to write this in two language!
** If only you are there to hear how it was spoken in Malay! Mine was nicely written. His is spoken in Malay with a god damn rude tune!

You're Always by my side

A very 'touching' story titled...."You're Always By My Side"

A man was walking across the road when he met with an accident. The impact was on his head which caused him to be in a coma for 2 days. When he opened his eyes, his wife was by his side.

He told her (in tears), "When I was struggling with my studies in the University, I failed again and again. Sometimes I even have to re-take my papers. You were there by my side, encouraging me to go on trying."

She squeezed his hands as he continued, "When I went for major interviews and failed to clinch any of the jobs, you were there, cutting out the job ads for me to apply..."

He added, " ...then I started working in this little firm and finally got a big contract. I blew it because of a small mistake. But you are still there for me." His wife was in tears.

The man said, "I finally got a job after being laid off for quite some
time. But I never seem to be promoted and my hard work was not recognized. I remained in the same position from the day I joined the company till now. You are still beside me..."

His wife's tears trickled down as she listened to him, "And now I met with an accident and when I woke up, you are here with me. There's something I'll really like to say to you..."

She flung herself on the bed and hug her husband, sobbing with deep emotion.

Finally her husband said,

"I think you bring me bad luck."

Leonna Lewis - Better In Time

It's been the longest winter without you
I didn't know where to turn to
See somehow I can't forget you
After all that we've been through

Going coming thought I heard a knock
Who's there no one?
Thinking that I deserve it
Now I realize that I really didn't know
If you didn't notice you mean everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I gonna be ok

Chorus:**
** Thought I couldn't live without you
** It's gonna hurt when it heals too
** It'll all get better in time
** And even though I really love you
** I'm gonna smile cause I deserve to
** It'll all get better in time

I couldn't turn on the TV
Without something there to remind me
Was it all that easy?
To just put aside your feelings

If I'm dreaming don't wanna laugh
Hurt my feelings but that's the path
I believe in
And I know that time will heal it
If you didn't notice boy you meant everything
Quickly I'm learning to love again
All I know is I’ll gonna ok

Repeat Chorus **

Since there's no more you and me
It's time I let you go
So I can be free
And live my life how it should be
No matter how hard it is I'll be fine without you
Yes I will

Repeat Chorus ** x2

Boring Eat Book Of Mine

The title of this posting is "Boring Eat Book Of Mine". It is also label as "Boring Eat Book Of Mine". It is categorize this way because this is where I record my daily eating habit and a brief description on the happening of the days.

This will allow me to know what I eat daily. I have it written to share the daily menus, the type of food eaten and maybe the location. Through this, I can actually track my own eating pattern.

I have very unhealthy eating pattern. I am also very choosy in my daily food intake. It is highly affected by my mood which will directly and indirectly impact my health.

I have allergy to certain food. So I have taken this opportunity to record my eating habit as I know it will make me guilty for not taking care of myself. From there I will expect myself to watch my diet seriously as advice by my family doctor.

Hopefully it helps ;) Maybe you can try spotting me at such locations...

Do have a nice day everyone!

Today: September 4, 2008

Today started with my breakfast... Hehe I am SO HUNGRY! This is as I skipped my dinner yesterday. I'm sorry mom, promise I won’t do it again.

Macy Gray - I Try

Games, changes and fears
When will they go from here?
When will they stop?
I believe that fate has brought us here
And we should be together babe
But were not
I play it off, but I’m dreaming of you
And I’ll try to keep my cool, but I’m feeling

Chorus:**
** I try to say goodbye and I choke
** Try to walk away and I stumble
** Though I try to hide it, it’s clear
** My world crumbles when you are not here
** Goodbye and I choke
** I try to walk away and I stumble
** Though I try to hide it, it’s clear
** My world crumbles when you are not here

I may appear to be free
But I’m just a prisoner of your love
And I may seem all right and smile when you leave
But my smiles are just a front
Just a front, hey
I play it off, but I’m dreaming of you
And I’ll try to keep my cool, but I’m feeling

Repeat Chorus **

Here is my confession
May I be your possession?
Boy, I need your touch
Your love, kisses and such
With all my might I try
But this I can’t deny
Deny

I play it off, but I’m dreaming of you
(but I’m dreaming of you babe)
And I’ll keep my cool, but I’m feeling

Repeat Chorus **

Goodbye and I choke (Im choking)
I try to walk away and I stumble
Though I try to hide it, its clear
My world crumbles when you are not near
(when you are not near, yeah, yeah yeah)
Yeah, yeah..

Rihanna - Take A Bow Lyrics

Ohh, how about a round of applause
Yeah, standing ovation
Oooh ohh yeah, yeah yeah yeah yeah

You look so dumb right now
Standing outside my house
Trying to apologize
You're so ugly when you cry
Please, just cut it out

An' don't tell me you're sorry 'cause you're not
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught

Chorus: **
** But you put on quite a show
** Really had me going
** But now it's time to go
** Curtain's finally closing
** That was quite a show
** Very entertaining
** But it's over now (but it's over now)
** Go on and take a bow

Grab your clothes and get gone (get gone)
You better hurry up before the sprinklers come on
Talkin' about, girl, I love you, you're the one
This just looks like a re-run
Please, what else is on (ohh)

And don't tell me you're sorry 'cause you're not
Baby when I know you're only sorry you got caught

Repeat Chorus **

Ohh, and the award for best liar goes to you
For making me believe that you could be faithful to me
Let's hear your speech out

How about a round of applause
A standing ovation

Repeat Chorus **

But it's over now

September 2, 2008 - Flown in from Hong Kong

A while ago we have a bunch of funny friends that came from Hong Kong. First come Jerry, then come Lewis and last came Steve.

Although we were all not very close, but I cannot deny that their stay in Malaysia “enlightens" the atmosphere in the office. The office was less quiet. Their stay last for two to three weeks.

Then again Steve came back from Hong Kong today carrying gifts for us. We did not do anything to deserve gifts... Below is the few presents given.

From Lewis A McD wrapper that, at first I was thinking what it was. After a shake or two, the sound from the box says it was a soft toy. Then after, I open the wrapper and found a box. Guess what it was! It is a Hello Kitty doll. On the box it writes "Work Hard \(>_<)/". It is pretty inspiring.

Message to Lewis: Thanks for the doll. I like the inspiring words but I never like Hello Kitty ;( That cat has no mouth. I never like cat... I like the wrapper, the box but not Hello Kitty. Sorry about that.

From Steve 2 mini can of sweets from "Disney". Well we do not know if it is actually from "Disney" hehe... I don’t take sweets Steve. Thanks though because I love the mini can. It is very suitable for me to put my meds.

From Jerry and Lewis (again): A box of facial whitening essence mask. If only you can see the look on my face when I saw it. Where in the world are there "TWO" guys give a female that? Yeap, you find it here from Hong Kong. According to those two adorable guys, they bought that thinking female loves beauty products. So they decided to give us a box of mask.

Comment:

1) You guys are so adorable besides a boyfriend buying that, or bringing their girlfriend to make purchase on beauty product with them, I never thought you would do that!

2) Of all things, a mask as gift. I can’t help but think that because you love us so much and afraid we might look old and ugly, you bought us THAT... It might be a hint for us working girls should really do take care of our youthful skin while we are still young. Do not wait until you are old with wrinkles to do so. Hehe, therapy will be of no help especially when it is too late.

3) In conclusion I think you two are pretty unique to think of buying a box of mask as gift. Tell me is this a cultural kind of things that resulted in such unique gifts? I sincerely think that you two are very thoughtful guy to think of it.

Thank you all. Next time don’t waste money buying things. I don’t know about the others but to me it is not all about the material or the things. It is the hidden intangible value that counts. I will still treasure it as much even if it is just a wrapper ;)

Today: August 30, 2008

Saturday morning started with mount climbing.

The breakfast of the day is in Sri Petaling at 11am to 2.30pm. It lasted for hours because my friend Billy and I were busy chit chatting. It has been a long time since we last met. The brunch of the day...

1) A variety of Dim sum with
2) Chinese tea

The tea was enjoying as we sat there and enjoy the moment while sipping tea under the shades of the trees.

Four to five hours later is dinner. Aunt Elaine decided not to cook dinner today so she bought home "Nasi Kukus" (Direct translated: steam rice). The steam rice taste good. The rice unlike others was not sticky and it was still warm. The content of "Nasi kukus" was not only the rice, it also have got a chicken drumstick, cucumber, nuts and some sambal sauce. "Nasi Kukus" is quite similar to a local Malaysian dish name "Nasi Lemak" but the difference between them is that "Nasi Lemak" has egg and "Nasi kukus" none.

Late in the evening at about eight to nine, I late some supper. Among the food consume includes...

1) A bowl of soup "Cashew nuts with chicken"
2) Lo Hon Ko herbal tea
3) "Egg tea" also known as "Kai Tan Cha" in Cantonese.

I think I had a lot to eat today. So worry that I'm going fat.
** Please god don't make me fat.

Today: August 29, 2008

Today is a Friday. Two days to the National day.

Because I was terribly late caught in a jam in Kuala Lumpur due to the National day marching rehearsal I had no breakfast this morning. It took me two and a half hour to go to the office today. Damn good record...

Lunch in Section 17: 1.15pm to 2pm sharp return to the office.

As I was superb late today and I had no breakfast, I have a little more to eat during lunch. I had my lunch with Yeon, Ed and Joyce. The food of the day is...

1) The famous Penang Char Kuey Teow
2) Bulls eye egg
3) Lor Hon Ko as my drink of the day.

Due to the ever change weather these days, we must always drink more herbal tea to cool down the heat in our body.

As for dinner is at downstairs Fatimah Restaurant: 7pm.

Today have got classes after work and due to the heavy "brunch" I only have "cucur udang" for dinner (Aka prawn cracker).

Later the night when I return home, I had chicken chop. Aunt Elaine is a good cook, unfortunately the chicken sucked. I only have a few chew and had to wrap up the chicken with blotter and threw it into the dustbin. Hopefully she never finds it (@'.'@)~

Today: August 28, 2008

Breakfast in Accenovate: 10.30 am.

Good morning! Today's breakfast is...

1) 1/2 cup of milo with
2) 6 Hup Seng Cream Crackers

Never bother to drink the milo as it is use to dip the biscuits. Always have the habit of breaking the biscuits into half and dip it in the milo for the taste of rich chocolate.

Lunch in Section 17: 12.15pm to 1pm sharp return to the office.

Lunch everyone! Went out to eat with Uni mate Gary. Sorry Yeon for rejecting your invitation for lunch. I was booked and almost forgotten the lunch date. Food eaten is...

1) Soyabean iced and
2) Economic rice worth RM3 (Bean curd, curry potato and egg with small rice)
The dessert and its topping? Well, it is juicy updates from Gary on his love life....

Okay everyone one tip of the day, resist the temptation of going out in groups for lunch as it delay your time back to the office and of course pro-long the lunch hour.

Dinner ... were is dinner?

Okay dinner was at 9.30pm, I ate rubbish such as...

1) Maggie mee
2) Soup
3) Red bean dessert
4) 1 Vege, little fish + little egg.

Hehe... What? I was hungry. A long the day I have eaten some tidbits... It was very unhealthy. If mom finds out I will get the scolding. Shouldnt have simply eat anything especially when I'm sick ;) Sorry MOM!

Family (mom): Mom's Love & The watch (August 23, 2008)

My mom, she's a very simple woman. Last Saturday she bought me a watch. This is how the watch looks like.

Thanks mom, I like it very much. I really do! The reason why she bought me a watch is because I simple have none. This is due to my numerous histories of sudden disappearing watches.

About the disappearing of watches, I can explain. This, we will have to start talking about my habit of wearing watches. Many, who know me, knew I always have a watch on my wrist. I never seem to take them off even when I go to bath or sleep or swim, in short, it is 24 to 7 on my wrist. Them (the watch) disappearing from my sight seems tough. Unfortunately so, "Yes it does", cuz several mornings I woke up and one watch gone. There goes another and so does another and another.... The number of watch I have lost? Erm... numerous ;) Till today, I don’t know where they ended up.

Again back to my mom, she's a very simple and humble woman. Just like my grandmother did. Why I would label her a simple woman is because of her live, full time housewife and the only thing she's worried about is how to be a good mother. She thinks she isn’t a good mother when she's no longer washing my clothes. Ain’t she lovable?

Anyway it was not all about her simplicity or all the missing watches. I was suppose to highlight how touch I am she bought me a watch... Along with the watch she said to me "I'm sorry I cannot afford something fancy or branded. I hope you'd like it despite it being very cheap."

Oh my god, mom! You almost put me in tears. It’s not the brand or the cost; I'd love anything from you, anything! & like I say above, I like it very much. In fact, it is very thoughtful of you.

The 7th Ray of Memoirs – My treasure!

The day was hot. We cannot wait to get it over and done with…

I walked in, greeted the madam seated at the counter and started strolling shelves after shelves looking at every single stones available even in the deepest corner. I was busy looking at the variety of crystals displayed at the shop with all my other friends. It was thought to be like any other day. It was the last stay of my trip there.

They gathered round the counter talking to the friendly lady serving. Me, I am still looking for the right stones. Choosing which one to pick out of the thousands is often a very difficult decision to make. After pointing out a few, I return to the counter to get a sit before I finalized which one to purchase.

Sitting at the counter and looking at the variety of stones introduced. The man of the house was busy introducing, show and also pointed at the stones one over another. He was busy with his introduction and me with my bargaining for a better price.

I STILL DID NOT NOTICE!

Mrs. Tan at the counter started to divert her conversation to me. “So it’s been a long time since I saw you, how are you doing?”, “I’m fine thank you. Yes, it’s been a long time, haha I’ve been busy.” She handed over a name card to everyone then me and she said “Let me introduce, this is my son! And that is his name card.” She pointed at the guy in red in between one of the shelves.
NOW THAT is when I notice the stranger my friends were talking to! He was the guy Looi was chatting to happily. Okay so she wasn’t on a call! He blushed and laughed then he said “Hi, I’m Ray!”. I stretched my hands out and shake his. “Well, nice to meet you. I’m Ching.” Everyone started introducing themselves to him and then my attention was drawn back to his mom.

Looking at me she said to everyone “My son is still single, are you single? It would be great if you can introduce anyone nice to him…” Are you kidding me? Your contacts and his is broader then mine. You don’t need me to introduce any! I saw him shy off saying that it’s embarrassing and suggested us to divert to another topic.

That was when his dad looked over and says “Ah, Yes, that’s my son!” so proud of him that he was, he then continued with his introduction on the collections…

******************

That day, after I left the shop, I actually issued a SMS out to him and I wrote “AH, So I do know you, they told me you were the guy who frequents Nesturn, the guy who owns the shop! No wonder why you seem rather familiar.”

On our first conversation he said “I was very surprised how smart my mom was to hand over my name card. She understands me very well and knows what I’d like. She gave me a shock with what she did and my dad too! He’s never like this before. Can you remember how he look over half way and introduced me to you and you only?” To tell you the truth I did not noticed that. Knowing the nature of mine, it’s hard for me not to be careless and notice details.

Most of your words are still freshly carved in my memory. He talked a lot that night. One that meant a lot that night was you saying “Remember that SMS? I was hoping so hard. Hoping it was you on the other line. My mom asked me to call and ask if it was you. Indeed it was you! I need to thank my mom. If not, I would not have found you.” From his voice, one can tell he was with joy so happy that he carried a smile all the way while talking.

Here I know, he has set his eyes on me when I walked into the shop. His eyes followed me throughout the entire transaction. He has set strong determination to make me his and I am the lucky girl picked. It wasn’t any ordinary day after all, because I’ve found you too!

** Nesturn is a cafĂ© I visited frequently. They have singers who perform on stage. Well, it’s a lonely night nothing much you can do if not to catch up with friends. I saw him there frequently but was not properly introduced.

Post Traumatic Dating Disorder (PTDD)

Dubbed by American relationship expert Lucia Demasi. It is said that Women with Post Traumatic Dating Disorder(PTDD) respond irrationally to small provocations in relationships. They assume the worst for no logical reason, based on what’s happened to them in the past. Post Traumatic Dating Disorder (PTDD) comes solely from dating experiences different from having "baggage" as it comes from any part of our life.

Five telltale signs you have Post Traumatic Dating Disorder (PTDD)

•Every time he’s 10 minutes late you think it’s over
•You’re always looking for signs of rejection
•You have flashbacks to prior similar situations
•You constantly jump to negative conclusions
•You’ve given up on dating – it will only end in tears

Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see
That I want and I need everything that we should be
I'll bet she's beautiful, that girl he talks about
And she's got everything that I have to live without

Drew talks to me, I laugh cause it's just so funny
That I can't even see anyone when he's with me
He says he's so in love, he's finally got it right,
I wonder if he knows he's all I think about at night

Chorus: **

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only thing that keeps me wishing on a wishing star
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do

Drew walks by me, can he tell that I can't breathe?
And there he goes, so perfectly,
The kind of flawless I wish I could be
She'd better hold him tight, give him all her love
Look in those beautiful eyes and know she's lucky cause

Repeat Chorus **

So I drive home alone, as I turn out the light
I'll put his picture down and maybe
Get some sleep tonight

He's the reason for the teardrops on my guitar
The only one who's got enough of me to break my heart
He's the song in the car I keep singing, don't know why I do
He's the time taken up, but there's never enough
And he's all that I need to fall into..

Drew looks at me, I fake a smile so he won't see.

Texas - Say What You Want

Twenty seconds on the back time
I feel you're on the run
Never lived too long to make right
I see you're doing fine

And when I get that feeling
I can no longer slide
I can no longer run
Ah no no
And when I get that feeling
I can no longer hide
For it's no longer fun
Ah no no

Chorus:**
** Well, you can say what you want
** But it won't change my mind
** I'll feel the same
** About you
** And you can tell me your reasons
** But it won't change my feelings
** I'll feel the same
** About you

What I am is what you want of me
Yeh, now that I'm not there
I took the tables away from you
It's turned that I don't care

And when I get that feeling
I can no longer slide
I can no longer run
Ah no no
And when I get that feeling
I can no longer hide
For it's no longer fun
Ah no no

Repeat chorus ** [x2]

I've said goodnight
Try to sleep tight
Ah just dream of me
Go close your eyes
Cause I've closed mine
The sun will shine from time to time
Oh, when you dream of me, yeh

Repeat Chorus **

Mariah Carey - Bye Bye

This is for my peoples
Who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby
Your man or your lady
Put your hand way up high
We will never say bye
No, no, no

Mamas, daddies, sisters, brothers
Friends and cousins
This is for my peoples
Who lost their grandmothers
Lift your head to the sky
Cause we will never say bye

As a child there were them times
I didn’t get it
But you kept me in line
I didn’t know why
You didn’t show up sometimes
On Sunday mornings and I missed you
But I’m glad we talked through

All them grown folk things
Separation brings
You never let me know it
You never let it show
Because you loved me and obviously
There’s so much more left to say
If you were with me today
Face to face

Chorus:**
** I never knew I could hurt like this
** And everyday life goes on I wish
** I could talk to you for a while
** Miss you but I try not to cry
** As time goes by

** And it’s true that you’ve
** Reached a better place
** Still I’d give the world to see your face
** And be right here next to you
** But it’s like you’re gone too soon
** Now the hardest thing to do is say

** Bye bye
** Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye
** Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye
** Bye bye, bye bye, bye bye
** Bye bye

You never got a chance to see
How good I’ve done
And you never got to
See me back at number one
I wish that you were here
To celebrate together
I wish that we could
Spend the holidays together

I remember when you used to
Tuck me in at night
With the teddy bear you gave me
That I held so tight
I thought you were so strong
You’d make it through whatever
It’s so hard to accept the fact
You’re gone forever

Repeat Chorus **

This is for my peoples
Who just lost somebody
Your best friend, your baby
Your man or your lady
Put your hand way up high
We will never say bye

Mamas, daddies, sisters, brothers
Friends and cousins
This is for my peoples
Who lost their grandmothers
Lift your head to the sky
Cause we will never say bye, bye.

Repeat Chorus **
