November 8, 2008

I opened my computer cupboard upstairs in sister’s room today. In it were huge findings. Among the things I found in the cupboard includes:-

• Bracelets, necklaces and jade given by my late grandmother… It reminds me of how much love she has for me “although” the most loved in the family is still the younger one with “one eye snake”.
• In there I found a musical box in yellow. I tried my best to recall who was it from? I think it is from Patricia Yap. Someone I thought fondly of. Drifted and lost contact after high schools and got contacted again while studying in KTAR after that, gone again… Jesus Christ! I’m so bad in keeping contacts! But from facebook, I see you are doing great and I’m glad to know you are!
• Parker pen with the box and casing nicely intact. I know this is definitely from mommy! She gave it to me when I was having my UPSR. I can’t believe the pen is still nicely kept in the box and I totally forgotten about it…
• A pair of Kenji earrings. It is from one of my ex. Liked it very much and didn’t want to wear it… I wonder how is he now. We separated not on good terms.
• A bracelet again from another ex. As my wrist was too small I could not wear it… It is still nicely kept in its original box along with grandmothers jade bracelets and necklace.
• A letter knife that I use to liked a lot. It is still nice and shining. The knife’s design is plain and simple. I think the number of letters open by it should be less than 20 after so many years of keeping. “lol”
• A mini bus from my younger brother… Must have been because you were often very naughty sometimes the good deeds done by you were neglected. Looking at the bus reminds me the human side of you. I’m very sorry my dear brother. I still love you as much but I think I’ve started to neglect you too. From the difficult time you gave us, it’s hard to think of you but yet not feeling frustrated. In the end, we couldn’t even bother much anymore… We’ve been thinking so much for you I think its time for you to be independent.
• Gifts from sister’s younger days. Such as bricks from visits, key chains, shells and etc.
• A doll from Kim Fatt. He bought it when he was eating beef noodles. It’s been a long time since I heard from you too. After you married you couldn’t even keep contact with us because she’s a quick to jealous person…
• A sandalwood ladies fan from daddy ;)
• Memories of Nomis, nicely documented. Good god… I’ve missed you so much…
• A photo frame from sister during the younger days. To my surprise the picture wasn’t me with my sister it was me with Joyce Chan. My secondary school mate. How are you girl? Still in Australia? I think you should have start working by now aye?

In it were my many memories. You couldn’t believe how many years ago were those things. If I did not keep any of it, I could have lost all the fond memories I have with every one of you… Boy how I treasure those times.
